Our auction side of our business consists of 8 auctioneers in our family.  A third
generation of auctioneers!  We have been selling merchandise for others as well as
ourselves over the years and have a vast experience and knowledge of this industry.  We
purchased several companies over the years and added them to our own and then sold
off the parts that we did not need; either through our own annual auctions or others who
put on auctions in the industry.  We have helped liquidate many companies that called us
to sell off their inventory and assets because they wanted to shut down or downsize.
Here is a list of the companies that we have either bought assets from or helped to sell
them out over the last 23 years...................

4 C Saddlery - Middletown, Ohio
American Case and Luggage Co. - Cincinnati, Ohio
Virginia Oak Tannery - Luray, Virginia
Kentucky Leather - Middlesboro, Ky
B&B Leather - Gunnison Brothers Tannery - Girard, PA
Caldwell/Moser - New Albany, IN
Wilson Leather / Customade Laces - Bonne Terre, Missouri
Tenn Tann - Kingsport, TN
Lookout Saddlery / Southern Riding Co. - Chattanooga, TN
Geo Bosler Leather Company - Louisville, Ky
Orthopedic Company - Cincinnati, Ohio
Several Shoe shops and a couple of Halter manufacturing companies that went out of
business as well as many others in this industry!

Not to mention 40 plus years of selling experience for antiques, household, real estate,
etc. that we have.  Check out our family web site at www.coxauctioneers.com or you can
click here to go there -
Cox Auctioneers website.  You can also see our tack and leather
auctions listed at www.auctionzip.com - ID#8433 or click here to go there -
Auction Zip
Site.  We are licensed and bonded in several states including Ohio, Kentucky,
Tennessee, Texas, Indiana and can conduct auctions in Oklahoma and Missouri as well.
We can get reciprocation in most states and will come to you if necessary.  We try to do
our leather and machinery auctions twice a year and usually do them in the spring and
fall.

We have a let's make a deal program going on now if you would like to send us a sample
of what you would like to sell.  We will either buy it from you if we can get together on a
price or sell it for you at an upcoming auction.  Only send us a sample of what you have a
lot of and it must be representative of what you have as far as quality, etc.  If we do not
buy it and we just sell it for you at auction we will charge you a commission.  You will be
responsible for getting it to you.  We can send you a check or you can use it for a credit
for leather or towards some of our finished products.  You will be responsible for the
freight of the sample and return freight if we can't get together or we will sell it and send
you a check for the difference after commission.  It's a great way to keep your dead stock
moving, overrun merchandise, or seconds, etc.
